Love filming? Filmeur. LOVE EDITING? FILMEUR. Love Recording? Filmeur. Love acting in front of a Camera? Filmeur. Love imagining stories for the screen? Filmeur. Not sure how to do it but film /write /record /act it anyway? Ultimate Filmeur.
1 filmeur.
1 filmeuse.
all the filmeurs.
Are you a young amateur director/editor/sound specialist/cinema actor (a.k.a. you love making films and you never thought you could carry any of the preceding titles)? Great, cause we are too! We are filmeurs and filmeuses who share ideas, stories and advice with other filmeurs as well as our love for film.
This is a learning site. I mean not like the unattractive 'educational' websites where you can't even copy-paste. As we are only filmeurs, and not Gods of the Cinema, both writers and readers are here to learn and live/share their passion.
So even if you're not a filmeur, do not hesitate to give pieces of advice or constructive critiques, share our articles or even write about one of your own ideas! (here).
We hope you enjoy your journey on Filmeurs. :)

Recipe to become a filmeur or filmeuse:
Take your love for filmmaking. Mix with your ideas. Eat while it's hot.
Beware that the making of a filmeur/euse will lead to eruptions of creativity, an addiction to video cameras and/or scripts, long hours of computer staring (a.k.a. editing), an amount of frustration towards badly handled technology, a few sleepless nights, thoughts such as "I'm never doing this again" and the insanity of wanting to make another thousand projects.
