About our filmeurs
Salomé DSDL started making films when she was nine. Her first film, shot with her computer's webcam, was a news report from the Rabbit Planet. Since then she has made 10 short films of various lengths and genres, from documentaries to wedding videos and projected images for her theatre class. Her longest and most well-known film is Pitchipoï, a 33 minute documentary about the concentration camps of Auschwitz.
She had the idea to make Filmeurs after seeing a friend's cooking blog and watching a 2 minute stop motion short film she was acting in. (Don't even ask how the idea came, she has no clue). Today in her last years of high school, she's proud to be a filmeuse.
"Filmeurs. was really a crazy idea. I'm an IB student and IB people know that working on projects like this is difficult in the last years of the program. But... As soon as the idea came, I couldn't stop myself. I just loved the idea of a community of filmeurs and filmeuses to share our passion for film!"
